As players grow older and progress from Rising Stars or recreational soccer, they enter a new stage of their development. At this level, they start to move beyond the basics and get ready for what comes next in their soccer journey. Charlotte Rise FC’s Academy Teams program reflects that shift—it’s more focused, more competitive, and built around what players truly need at this age.

With that growth comes a shift in expectations. While fun and enjoyment remain central, players are now introduced to more intense training sessions, regular team practices, and increased game commitments. Families should expect a greater investment of time and effort, both at practices and on game days.
